Book Description

0849384834 978-0849384837 November 30, 1997 1
A single, comprehensive source on the Integrated Product and Process Design and Development (IP2D2) method and how to apply it. This new text/reference reflects the sweeping changes this approach has brought to traditional engineering design courses and to industry. It is designed to cultivate an attitude toward design that encourages creativity and innovation, while considering the equally important considerations of customer requirements and satisfaction, quality, reliability, manufacturing methods and material selection, assembly, cost, the environment and scheduling. Each concept is introduced and explained with checklists and practical guidelines to help you learn to apply this method to your own work.

2.0 out of 5 stars Take it from an engineer, March 6, 2009
This review is from: Integrated Product and Process Design and Development: The Product Realization Process (Environmental and Energy Engineering) (Hardcover)
This is the kind of thing that you can't pass the class without but the moment you do, just throw it away. There is a reason they wont buy it back at the college book store and it is because some professor slapped it all together to make an extra few bucks, In this case my professor, and they will do it again any minute now. I haven't used a bit of it since.
