This study prep book was so off the mark. The level of rigor in this book was way too low and the content was a complete miss when it came to the actual MTTC test. After reading and studying through this entire book and scoring well on the practice test, I felt completely unprepared during the actual exam.

This book was a horrible waste of time and money. After studing through the entire book I found that it did not come close to preparing me for the test! I was wondering why the content of the book seemed so remedial. I agree with the other reviewer that the CONTENT was a COMPLETE MISS when it came to the actual MTTC test.

This guide should be used to study for general science. It covers a broad range of topics relevant to the sciences. Skills included are as broad reaching as "Recognize and describe interrelationships among the life, physical, and earth sciences and among science, mathematics, and technology" or as focused as "Apply knowledge of the kinetic molecular model to explain observable phenomena." I feel this is a comprehensive book worthing purchasing.
