Great processor at a great price,

We had been running a server with one E5405 for a couple of years, and wanted to upgrade our processor performance. Once we got a qualified heat sink on another site, we had no problem getting this chip installed and running immediately. I would recommend getting this chip for anyone that is looking at a much higher proprietary vendor "certified" Xeon Chip -- there is really no difference between this chip and the chip that the third party would sell you...
