Got one in Jan. 2007. Overclock it to 3.4G with default voltage for daily use. It's screaming fast and rock stable. Compared with E6300, the multiplier of E6400 is 8, so E6400 is much easier to overclock. 400MHz X 8 = 3.2G. This means a pair of normal DDR2 800MHz memory can overclock this baby to 3.2G. In my experience, e6400 can also overclock better than e6600, although it's $100 cheaper.

I bought this chip largely based on all the good reviews posted on amazon.com. It worked out well. My boys are playing the new star wars game (SWTOR). And this chip makes a big difference - no lag, faster loading times, etc. Highly recommended!

gave it to my wife got the quad core for regular stuff just serfing the internet cant tell the differance not intill you put a work load on it
