I am a professional photographer, ... when I bought this for my daughters birthday I thought it would be no more than a toy but it works great, the image quality is better than my $100 cam and the color balance is great too! You can not do wrong with this camera, I highly reccomend it. I also reccomend that you stay away from the terrible Creative webcams!

When I upgraded to Win. XP the first thing it decided not to accept was my PC Cam. It was close to christmas time and I had spent a bundle and was looking for an inexpensive camera that would just be compatable with XP until after the holidays when I was sure I'd find a bargain. That was four months ago. I am so impressed with what this little cam can do that I havent bothered to look any further. Part of what I like about this cam is the software that allows you to make video postcards, AVI videos to send through email and the photo storage. it's a great camera for the price and very campatable with Win XP I highly recommend it.

I don't review alot of products here unless I love them or hate them. This one I hate.

This camera puts out very blocky images. Take for instance you have a camcorder with a digital zoom. You zoom way in and the image looks blocky and hard to read. Well, thats what youre gonna get with this camera. If you take a 640X480 snapshot, get ready for dissapointment. All images and video is blocky with bad color. I changed every setting there is, and nothing gets better.

On the other hand, the Intel Deluxe USB camera is wonderful. Please save your time and spend the extra $... for a camera 1000 times better than this one. It provides near crystal clear images and speed.
