Excellent resource
This book is extremely well written. The IPP library is full of great functions and sample code for image, video and audio manipulation and this book shows you how to take advantage of it.

Out of date
This book is out of print and there is a reason for that. Stewart Taylor has updated the book but given it another title "Optimizing Applications for Multi-Core Processors, Using the Intel Integrated Performance Primitives". Buy that book instead.
