Written in an accessible style, this book gives a thoughtful, careful analysis of the intersection between new media and intellectual property rights. The early chapters analyze principles of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets, applying those concepts in digital/online worlds. The later chapters offer some thoughts on where do we go from here.
Lamoureux, Baron & Stewart have written for several audiences -- lawyers, communications professionals, librarians, and students -- in a clear and straightforward style. To accompany this work, the authors provide a supplements on a blog, freeforafee.com.
