I highly recommend this book and wish to read more like it.
Dr. Sowell himself fits the definition of an Intellectual as he defines them in his book--except when he is talking about Economics, as he is an expert in that field.
Dr. Sowell has written a very interesting and informative book about intellectuals and their role and effect in society.
