This is certainly a worthy successor to the 1971 and 1976 versions ot The Basic Elements of Intelligence. If you are interested in law enforcement intelligence, this manual is essential. It is packed with useful information for the professional. See Mr. Chesbro's review and chapter listing to get an idea of how comprehensive this text is.

I needed the book for Homeland Security classes. It was required reading but was interesting and provided a source of reference for my writings.
