The text of this little book is essentially the hardcopy printing of files downloaded from US Government Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) websites, though it is arguably easier to haul around the book than a netbook displaying the file. The material is somewhat superficial but is of interest to certain historical writers in Chile. However, the information has been released for some time and more extensive reviews of this period of history are now available. Check out the newish title "Nixon, Kissinger, and Allende: U.S. Involvement in the 1973 Coup in Chile."
