I took a class with Dale and bought her book immediately. I read the book in about an hour and over the next couple of days used it as a resource guide on how to make myself more appealing in the online world.

The book is cleverly written! You start it with Dale's personal story and how she did it and then flip the book over and there are corresponding chapters on how to apply her experience/suggestions to your own process. Very Cool!!

I rewrote my profile within a couple of days and posted it. I had immediate results--winks AND emails. I had 3 dates scheduled within 24 hours of posting my more clever, non-boring profile.

Dale's experience and advice is easily applied and I highly recommend it to anyone who is not getting the results they are looking for on the dating sites and/or is new to the process altogether. If you are dating online or if you are contemplating online dating "The Intelligent Woman's Guide to Online Dating" is a must have/must read. Having read a number of books about how to go about dating via the internet Dale's book stands out. It is instructive, honest and funny. She relates her story, the mishaps, lessons learned and finally how to go about on line dating with intelligent and easy to follow guidelines. After reading her book I was convinced that Dale Koppel knew what she was talking about. And then I met her at a profile writing workshop and I was absolutely convinced that Dale, in fact, knew what whe was talking about. Not only was she a delight to meet,but everyone left the workshop far more positive and encouraged then when they arrived. Her book tells you what to do....sooo READ IT!

I found The Intelligent Woman's Guide to Online Dating an inspiring story of the author's personal experience and success with online dating. I found that Dale shares her story candidly, with humor and hope for all in the dating world. She makes helpful suggestions about how to do it yourself, including posting photos that are appropriately attention getting, creating a profile that is interesting and honestly reflects you, and being proactive when searching for a partner. For me, this was truly an inspiring and helpful book!!

The Intelligent Woman's Guide to Online Dating is a wonderfully honest look at the world of online dating and finding the love you desire. Dale's personal story is engaging, funny and full of useful tips to meeting that special someone online. Since reading it, I have received way more messages from perspective dates (or mates!) and I have changed the way I think about online dating. To be honest, instead of entertaining everyone who comes across my desk as a potential date, I have gotten more serious and more discerning about who is truly a potential match and who isn't. Her book is also helpful to my professional work of teaching women about flirting and attracting a partner into their lives!

This is a must read for any woman who is dating online. She tells of all her experiences and we can all relate. Online profiles are most important when determining who you want to contact you on these dating sites and it can be very daunting to hear all of the advice doled out on the internet but this book gets into specifics.

I really hate to leave negative reviews, but as a dating coach, and a big advocate of online dating, I have to say that I disagree with just about everything in this book. :( I think that it's negative, encourages deceit, and is misleading... There are much better resources out there. I'm sorry!!
