This is a great book!! It starts off with the physics of light, helps us professionals brush up our basic science, to better understand the logic behind facade design. It explains the chemical composition of various types of glass and methods of modifying the glass to increase it's strength and durability. The book also describes various systems of glazing. It covers all that has to do with glass, with a reasonable level of information, just right enough to understand and contribute to your work. In short it doesn't drown you in an ocean of redundant prose.
