4.0 out of 5 stars Bis Nation forever, no matter when, September 13, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Intendo (Audio CD)
Bis's Intendo was a compelation album of earlier recorded lp's so if you started tuning into the group about the time of "New Transistor Heroes" and "Social Dancing" you'll find the sound more punky and a bit darker than you would think. It is still a good buy and only has one track I'd avoid. Cookie Cutter Kid was a bit disappointing. Bis has set a great standard with every song they put out, even the Power Puff Girls theme song, and they deserve so much respect. Let's go, Bis go!!! Bis Nation Forever

5.0 out of 5 stars Teen-C nation Strikes again, January 29, 1999

For those of you who have never heard Bis before, I recommend getting "New Transistor Heroes". But, for those of us who have battled the Virgin Megastore Import bin to dig up singles, you have to have this CD instantly. NOW, BUY IT NOW! One of the reasons I liked this CD, is that most of the tracks are B-sides. I immediately noticed that they have put different versions of their songs on this CD. Only seasoned Bis fans would probably even pick up on it. A good addition to my Bis collection

4.0 out of 5 stars I am a big fan of Bis's "New Transistor Heroes"...., June 19, 1999

so I bought this CD, too. It's pretty good...the songs are original, it's fabulously fun, but it's too short! 10 songs at 29 minutes long is a little dissapointing after their 70 minute long "Heroes"...still a good musical addition to any collection.
