I had the distinct honor and pleasure of connecting with Hueina Su at her book launching party and am proud to affirm that Hueina Su embraces and embodies all that she teaches and expresses in this fabulous and exciting book. Hueina Su walks her talk. She has been where many of us are now and through profoundly intense inner work and a transformational shift within her own consciousness, Hueina Su is able to share with us the benefit of her incredible wisdom that can only be gleaned through first hand knowledge and experience.

Hueina Su's peaceful, grace-filled and empowering energy is uplifting, motivating and inspirational. In this wonderfully enlightening book, Hueina Su supportively encourages all caregivers to nurture and care for themselves by means of their own deep inner strength and willingness to know and love themselves. Through very practical and straightforward exercises we are taught not only to honor and cherish ourselves, but to also grant ourselves permission to care for our own needs and desires, while simultaneously releasing any temptations, old patterns or addictions to making ourselves feel guilty, wrong or selfish. We are gently reminded it is only from a place of true fulfillment that we are able to stand in our own power and show up for others with an open, radiant and loving heart.

Hueina Su reinforces for each one of us how very special, valuable, worthy and irreplaceable we are and that it is our divine birthright to experience bliss, balance, and serenity, and to fall in love with ourselves over and over again. This is a life-altering experiential journey you won't want to miss!

"I felt like this book was meant for me. Hueina Su has captured the essence of a caretaker's role through her own experiences as an older sibling, nurse and mother. Her insightfulness sheds light on the relationships we take on in all the roles we play. This book is a must read for the caretakers of the world or who rely on caretakers to take care of their needs.

Hueina Su's ability to take a look at our own roles and how they play out in our relationships is the first step for change to occur. She continues to provide samplings of ways you can support that change for yourself to bring greater balance and substance into your life and into the lives that we live."

I read this book cover to cover last night and couldn't put it down. It felt like I had received a gift of understanding and compassion. I could relate to it from the challenges experienced a couple of years ago when my father was very sick and I had to balance a demanding career and a household move. This book applies to anyone experiencing personal stress and changes in your life.

I found the questions in the Self Coaching sections really helped to integrate the teachings within your own personal situation. I kept taking notes as I was reading. It certainly brought to light what is holding me back in my life now and practical ways to help.

This is a book you'll want to use as a reference and go back to again and again.

This book is a must read for anyone who has ever felt as though they are doing too much for others or that they would like to do more for others but do not have the energy to do it. Hueina Su leads the reader gently through the process of discovering how to love and support yourself so that you can truly be there for others to love and support them from a place of strength, not weakness.
If you are someone who cares for others and only buy one self help book in your whole life, this one will give you everything you need.

By drawing on her experience as a care provider Hueina helps everyone understand the need for caring for oneself also. We often neglect or underestimate the impact different stresses have on our lives and this book helps us reevaluate our priorities and keep in mind that a 'burnt out' individual will provide less or less quality to others. This book is an invaluable tool to help oneself now before we get to that point and if we're already there how to improve on it.
