Practical and important ideas for church leaders,
By SHARON E. GEIGER (minneapolis, mn) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Intentional Disciplemaking: Cultivating Spiritual Maturity in the Local Church (Paperback)
The church today appears to be in the entertainment business. This book brings a careful look at what is needed to make the church a place for healing and growth if Christians want to make a difference in a world where God's truth and love are sorely needed. This book would be a great discussion starter for small group bible studies as well as church leadership. (The book has short chapters that are adaptable to a weekely or monthly study.)

Small book - big info,
By Elizabeth Walker (Dublin, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Intentional Disciplemaking: Cultivating Spiritual Maturity in the Local Church (Paperback)
The chapters were jam-packed with wise insight into the making of a mature disciple. Although I thought the author overdid the use of analogies in making his points, I found the book instructive and inspiring overall.
