It is not so much a sound as a spirit. You don't need to name it to know it or to trust it. Peter Wolf Crier's second album Garden of Arms is a document that paints a vivid portrait of all the pain and beauty of growth. Written with the at-home repose demanded by performing a hundred shows in six months, these eleven tracks were nurtured from their hushed origins with a new-found ... Editorial Reviews

Inter-Be is the debut album by PETER WOLF CRIER, the Minneapolis-based duo of Peter Pisano and Brian Moen. The album was born on a single summer night when Pisano felt a torrent of creativity after what had felt, to him, like an interminably long dry spell. He shared the songs with Moen, and over the months that followed, at Moen's home, these rough-hewed tunes became what they are now: a confident collection of songs, but deceptive in that their very guts still reflect the thoughts of a man in transition.

4.0 out of 5 stars A GREAT AND DIFFERENT SOUND! October 24, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I discovered some of the songs on this CD during a Delta flight to Asia. Tired of the same-old, same-old, of the music we hear on radio and TV, I'm always looking for something different, music that has a different beat, different harmonies, and, above all, pleasant to my ears! And Peter Wolf Crier just did it for me! Some of the songs are FANTASTIC, especially Untitled 101, a nice respectful "chat with God" from a Humane point of view, and Crutch and Cane, a smooth balad with simple but compeling arrangement. Hard as Nails and Down, Down, Down are also quite good. I'm just quite pleased with their music, VERY MUCH worth the dough spent. Just keep making more music, guys ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this October 4, 2013

My only fear is that this is a career record for them. Not sure that they can ever duplicate or exceed the simplistic soul and beauty on this album. An absolute must own.
