Since this AC Adapter is not liscenced by Nintendo®, your warranty will not cover your system if any damages result. But it is less expensive, since you're not paying for the box that has the "N" logo on it.

not worth the hassle!,

We bought this one because we were over seas and accidently plugged the 64 into a 240 volt outlet (woops!) Any way this one was cheaper, but now we wished we had went ahead and paid the money! The connection to the back of the system never fit snuggley so if you moved it, it would disconnect, then you would have to mess around with it to get it to work again! Then it would heat up like crazy, i mean really hot!! And now.. it doesn't work, so we're buying the real thing this time!
