cheap plastic, cheap design, cheap feel, cheap controller. Thispad is crappy, no matter what color you get. I returned it and tradedit for the madcatz one. The grip is too wide and the controller feels hollow. Get this one for you kids that like to chew on the controller or let your friends use this while you play them in a vs mode to have an advantage. The reason I gave it a 2 instead of a one is that it worked fairly well, all the buttons work. END

Better for large hands than the dreamcast original,

I bought an astropad, and loved it, especially for Soul Calibur. For large hands the dreamcast original is too small to comfortably use the digital pad rather than the analog stick. If you have large hands, the astropad is definitely for you.

Worst controller ever!,
By A Customer
This review is from: InterAct AstroPad (Video Game)
This controller does everything wrong: The hand grips are too bulky and awkwardly large, the VMU slots are too loose, it's made of hyper-cheap plastic that feels recycled, and the joypad is at an awkward angle to the grips. All in all, a very poor product.

this controller is terrificly awful. i got it for X-mas last year and totally regret it. yes it does look cool but so do lots and lots of other WELL MADE controllers. it cant seem to find the right spot in your hand and its trigger buttons feel akward. the best controller is found else where.

The thing works but it feels weird. the plastic is cheap. I don't think my hands are small but the controller doesn't feel comfortably proportioned.

Good controller, but a bit bulky.,

The controller came exactly as pictured. It works perfectly fine, except for the fact that it is a little bulky, making it somewhat difficult to use. Once you get used it it, it works fine.

Cheaply made and rushed onto the market. The analog stick gets stuck and it is very akward feeling. Try another controller because you will wish you had.

Feels a little different/Plays the same,

I could tell this unit was not Sega's by the slight difference in feel. It registers well with the Dreamcast console and I even felt better about it when I pulled it out by accident during play and the Dreamcast immediatly went to a red screen and informed me that the controller was out of socket. This controler does the same job and is great for when company comes over. If they don't own a Dreamcast they won't know any differents anyway. I bought the red and green and the added color is a plus to game play. Of course it's going to feel a little different if you've been playing with Sega's controllor. They can't make an exact copy. They'ed be sued.
