I have used two different controllers just like this one and the joystick always goes bad after about two months, the cord comes out, and they have sticky buttons. They look cool, but they're not worth buying.

This is a great controller for the money! I have one and it is great! It's very durable and lasting. Since the only controller that I've played with is this one, when I go over to friends house who have the normal controller I hate it. So people who write the bad reviews just aren't used to this controller. I think if you just bought an N64 and you're looking for another controller but don't have enough money to buy the regular controller buy this one!

this controller isn't that bad to use. the control stick takes a little to get used to, but once i got the hang of it, i was well on my way. the only problem is that the control stick is kinda sensitive to impact. It got stuck one time when it hit the ground, but i just loosened it out, but a second time it hit the ground and the stick just leans to one side. it's not bad for [the price]. i'm considering getting another one

I don't exactly have this blue kind, I have a grey one, but there is no difference. The only thing that has fallen off on mine so far is that sticker on the bottom. Plus this one has buttons close up so you can do combonations, like say you are playing a racing game (i.e. cruisn' world) when there is a turbo feature, like C-down. You can hold down both A (accelerate) and C-down at the same time. Also, it is easier if you start off with this one. My brothers have normal controllers, and when I try those, I can't beat anything. In closing, it isn't so bad. The people who wrote bad reviews about it probably were used to normal controllers and thought that the superpad was as durable as a normal controller, so they went wild with the super pad.

This product is easy to get used to you and to use. The only problem i have is the Z button has broken and my friend has had the same problem so other than that it is a good product. I would not by another in risk of that happening

i have a purple one of these (not that it makes a difference) and have had it for a year. i has worked great during that time, but recently an inner part of the z button broke off. i took it apart and super glued it, but it only worked for a few more days. all in all it is a very good PRECISION controller (i.e. the control stick is much more precise in games like mario 64). but if you want one that lasts a long time, go with the original.

I love this controller, not only does the style feature a catchy look, but the color is also a match. For me the regular controller had handles on each side that couldnt fit to my hands and i just wanted to say that if you need a controller that you can do quick coordinated moves, or just for something to not cramp your hand from time to every 5 minutes, This is it. I can't wait till i recieve this product!

I'm slow to give a 1-star rating, but this certainly takes it. First, the grip is hard. The grip it thin and small extends vertically from the controller. The Z-Button on all three of the ones I got broke within a month after moderate use. The controller gets greasy SO easily. Never, ever get this, no matter how desperate you are to save money.

This thing is very comfortable, for the week or so that it works! Like some of the other reviewers, and other people I know that own these, the Z button is a BIG problem. After the week or so that I said it will work, the Z button caves in, and there is no real way to get it out. I tried taking it apart. and it didn't really help. The rest of the controller, however, was better than the original. But many games can't be played (at least to their fullest) without the Z button! It might be more comfortable and accessible, but it's still a horrible product! What a joke. InterAct should be ashamed. FOR GOD SAKES, BUY THE REAL CONTROLLER!!!

I have had one of these in gray. It is much more comfortable than the regular ones because you have more freedom of movement having only the middle "stick". Plus, the buttons are a little closer to each other and the L and R buttons are more easily accessible.
However, I would recommend purchasing a different brand; the Z button is a real problem. It stopped working after about a month, so I opened it up to fix it - part of the button itself broke, being the... plastic that it is. I used super glue to fix it, closed it up, and it worked for a few more days. Then it broke again, and I can't even get it open because the screws stripped so easily. This, of course, takes a lot of function out of many games, and is now just trash.
