My husband and I received a ton of gift subscriptions to magazines this year, and the pile on the bathroom counter was becoming a real monster. We purchased this rack and mounted it across from our toilet. At first we were dubious because it looks pretty modestly sized and our subscriptions include such space-eaters as Rolling Stone and InStyle, but both of these magazines fit comfortably, although the Rolling Stone has to be slightly bent. It holds about 8 magazines of various sizes, and if you packed it, it would hold even more.
The mounting for this is very easy, and the wall sinks that they provide for drywall are reasonable quality and did not bend or break when hammered into the wall. It is very secure and is not pulling out of the wall or sagging at all after several weeks. I am completely satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it!

Great little rack! Psssst, you don't HAVE to use the screws!,
This review is from: InterDesign Classico Wallmount Magazine Holder, Chrome (Kitchen)
I wanted this for a small bathroom. My daughter always leaves magazine lying around the floor in there. This seemed like a small, clean, attractive-enough, and inexpensive design. Her walls are drywall where I wanted to put it. I knew I could use the screws (I really don't think you need the plastic wall anchors even though they are included, it isn't THAT heavy or jostled around) but I worried that I might want to move it if she didn't like it.
I happened to have some extra 3M Command Adhesive strips leftover from a box of hooks (they always give you a few extra strips.) The area on the back of the magazine rack (where the screw holes are) each has a small, flat piece of metal. I just put a strip on each one (my strips were a little long, I just trimmed them with scissors) and pressed it to the wall with the removal tag extending beyond the metal (so I can pull it if I want to remove it.) It has held up fabulously! Even in the bathroom. And if I do want to take it down or reposition it, I don't have to worry about filling holes. They do sell water-resistant strips, too if your bathroom is particularly steamy...those hold up IN my shower, so they work very well too. It holds up to regular-sized magazines, not the large ones (like Life) but we rarely have those and/or books. The inside of the "basket" part measures 9" wide x 7" tall x 3" deep. It isn't overly deep or tall, so it is relatively unobtrusive and the chrome finish doesn't look out of place in a bathroom. Very happy with the item!!
