This thing started to rust within 3 days, and was a mottled mess within 2 weeks. I had to throw it out. A complete rip-off. Be highly skeptical of the 'reviews' saying it does not rust.

This soap saver has a simple but very funcional and modern design. On it, the soap doesn't slip and water doesn't pool (like it does in soap holders that don't have openings in the bottom, which over time dissolves the soap bar). Stainless steel means no rust, too. Works as it should and complements any bathroom.

this soap dish works great in the shower if you hate how soap gets gooey and sticks to the tub or tile . . . it's also very nice looking! oh, and unlike the ones with dishes on the bottom, water doesn't pool up.

Wow does this thing rust. How exactly is STAINLESS steel supposed to be stainless when it rusts over completely? We had this holder for less than a week before it started leaving little discolored marks on the marble in the shower. If you are going to assume a soap dish to be near water... which is all soap dishes, don't you think you would have the fore thought not to use a material that rusts so easily. Oh well, hopefully I'll have better luck with the next dish.

Poor quality - rusts after a day and is full of red spots all over.
Now looking for another soap holder.

I loved the design of this. would look great if you intend to use it for decoration only. But if you put wet soap on it it will rust. I was going to use it in my guest bathroom as that is dry most of the time but realized I can't even do that because even a guest staying one or 2 nights, it will rust by next day. I did't want my guest feeling they made a mess of it or worse yet that my bathroom is not clean. I had to simply throw it away. I'm still looking for one.

It's junk, I've had it 2 weeks and theres already a coat of rust on the surface, maybe it's the Ivory soap fault.

We have replaced our soap holders in all three showers with the InterDesign soap saver. The soap holder looks great and works even better.

This product was a disappointment. It got rust marks on it. At first I thought it was because it was new so I washed it - more rust spots. I tried one last time cleaning it and reusing only to become frustrated when more spots showed up. I would tell anyone who was thinking about purchasing this item that it would be a huge mistake.

Nice design but quickly showed rust. Not sure what grade of stainless steel this is, but it's fairly useless if it rusts.
