Product Description

Style Name: Towel Bar

Use this towel bar inside the shower, or out. Two super strong Power Lock suction cups securely hold this bar in place. The suction cups will hold on smooth surfaces like glass, fiber glass and tile. It is made of durable stainless steel wire that has been polished to a mirror-like finish. Wire drains and dries quickly, making it perfect for the shower. With the proper care, stainless steel will not rust. Lift, push and lock feature for secure adhesion to smooth surfaces. Easy to install - no hardware needed.

The suction cups on these do not work at all.
Stacy Sher
I couldn't get the suction cups to grip well enough on this unit so that the bar would've supported the weight of a wet towel (or probably even a wash cloth).

As I feared, the basket will not stay attached to the shower wall and falls to the floor each time I try to attach it.

We put it up, and hung a regular bath towel on it ~ not even a large bath towel ~ and the thing fell from the weight and BROKE! I am VERY disappointed!

I am really impressed...once I really figured out how to install them, they do NOT move.
I have 2 heavy, large, salon sized bottles, full of product and with pumps on them. I do not have to take the bottles out to pump the dispenser to get the product into my hand!
Tip: the trick to installing them right is to push in on the lever, and then lock it downward. The pushing is what gets the internal suction cup to really stick.
Tip 2: to remove, pull the lever up, and use a credit card or something similar to get under the internal suction cup.

I'd give this ZERO stars if I could.

I'll just reiterate the previous reviewers main comments, so that we can bring the rating down still lower on this piece of junk and prevent anyone else from being ripped off.

The first problem is that it wasn't well thought out, so on many folks' tiled surface, it's going to hit a grout line, and be difficult to install.

But the even bigger problem is that it is incredibly cheaply made. Even if you get it to install, there is a high probability that it won't last you more than a couple of weeks if you aren't extremely delicate in how you handle it. The bar itself is "welded" with two tiny spot welds, which will break free with the tiniest of force. This renders your towel bar completely useless, save for the half that falls to the floor.

This is best used as a baton with which you can smack yourself repeatedly in the forehead for being dumb enough (like me) to buy this.

Stay away!

I purchased this product after reviewing the product dimensions because I wanted a towel rod to place a bath mat on while not in use. According to the dimensions, it is supposed to be 17.8 inches long, this is wrong as it is barely 12 inches. The product itself seems poorly made, but it is still clinging to the wall as of right now. I will be looking for a longer rod that perhaps could be attached to it in the future.

This was a poorly made item. The flimsy weld that connected the bar to the suction cups broke when I tried to hang the bar. Never used it once. Don't waste your money.

This gadget was inexpensive, looks nice, and works just as advertised. The size was a little smaller than expected, but not much: 17.5 in wide with 15 in of usable space. No problems. It has handled two wet hand towels on my shower wall without failing for 3 months and counting.

Ordered it for an extra towel hanger, but as we were taking the paper /plastic wrapping off, the rod broke off, and needs to be welded on!!!

Beware if you have the old 4" tiles in your bathroom, because the length of this bar means that it will hit a grout line on one end or the other or both. We managed to position it with just the very edge of each suction cup near a grout line, but they would slowly lose suction, so about every 3 days the towel bar would fall and we'd have to stick it back up again. It also won't stick on our larger tiles in the other bath because they're too rough. If you have large slick tiles, though, I guess it would work great.
