I don't know why others are complaining!,
By "sonyfan" (Northern Virginia, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Interact P210 Performance Raider Pro Joystick for Windows 95/98 (Personal Computers)
This joystick is the best joystick I have seen. I originally bought a Microsoft Sidewinder and it was horrible! I couldn't get that to work at all. But this stick works sweet. I can play all my games, such as FS2000 and Daytona. I did experience some calibration problems at first, but if you fool around with the knobs on the base, then you should be in control in no time. It is a good stick and it works on my new PC with Windows XP as well as my old PC with Windows 98. My recommendation is that you get this one. It is worth the money!

Great Joystick at a Wonderful Price,

This is a good performance joystick at a very low price. I have seen the other reviews and I think you should try a detection program so your comp. can pick up the new hardware. I found that it was up and running when I started to play Descent 2, anf various Flight Simulator programs. So don't be fooled this is a GREAT joystick at an affordable price.

Excellent Low Cost Flight Yoke,
By A Customer
This review is from: Interact P210 Performance Raider Pro Joystick for Windows 95/98 (Personal Computers)
I originally bought this stick with the intention of taking it to college in order to help me blow off tension. There's something gratifying about perforating a big ugly when you've had a long day of studying, typing and sitting in class. The first thing I noticed about this product was the fact that, unlike most controllers under $30, the transition between x and y axis was smooth. If you don't know what I mean, its the little bump you feel as you shift directions from the vertical to the horizontal. Its rare to find that this is minimized in a low cost stick. The pressure is light but substantial enought to make every movement deliberate. For action games this is essential. I tried it out on Independence War and on the online demo for Star Wars: Episode I. It performed admirably in both. Definately a must for flight sims and 3D shooters. The only reason I didn't see fit to give the fifth star out for this category is that I had to do some scratching to get Win 98 to not switch the first and second buttons. For some reason it swapped them. Other than that, this is probably what you're looking for if you're a casual gamer like me. It does the job and does it very well, indeed. I would rank this at the top of the mid-priced game controllers.
