Interactive Hip presents the most complete and accurate 3-D anatomical model of its kind. Included are the acetabular fossa and its surrounding structures to the full blood supply and nervous innervation of the hip joint and thigh.
The model can be rotated and 16 layers of anatomy stripped away with every visible structure labeled. Video illustrates muscle actions, and text and slides highlight key pathology of anatomical structures.
Arthroscopic material allows you to view the hip joint in situ. Stunning biomechanics animations demonstrate and describe the limits of motion and stresses of the walk cycle.
A radiology section looks within the joint itself and correlates MRI slices with the equivalent slice through the 3-D model. Pathology slides are included as well as orthopaedic radiology text written by David W. Stoller.
