Also some textbooks (like Silverthorn's Human Physiology 5th edition) include access to iP when you register online.
This DVD promises to be "The best way to learn the hardest part of A&P" which after using the product I can honestly say is a laughable statement. When you install and run the disc it actually just opens a page in your browser window with links to the "interactive demonstrations."
The demos aren't really videos, they are more like Power Point slides with some animation added. The animations are amateur at best and the whole demo is in extremely low resolution. The demos are maybe 600x400 pixels and pixel corruption (visible off-color pixels around text) is rampant. You could zoom in if you wanted to but the distortion just gets worse.
To make matters worse, the audio rarely syncs up with the images in the demo. I have no idea what version of Adobe Flash this program was created in but I have never successfully watched an entire demo without it crashing or asking for continual Flash updates that do nothing to fix the problems.
If I was going to guess, I would say these demos were created on Adobe Flash in 1996 and then hastily converted again and again in subsequent versions without any real testing.
Luckily I didn't have to buy this disc outright. Charging over $100 for it by itself is borderline criminal. You can find better and much clearer demonstrations for anything this DVD covers for free on Youtube.
Fairly intuitive user interface. Has been helpful for me. Does not have integumentary or skeletal systems. Overall, it is an ok software. Especially if you can get it at a good price. I got it for under $25 and it has been a good value for me.

Seller was great, product was okay. When viewing this CD there was no way to skip forward a few seconds or back a couple of seconds if you needed to rehear something. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Alan Best
