To start, I must say I highly respect Every Home for Christ (EHC) and their commitment to share the simple gospel of Christ, which they have been doing home to home for about the last 65 years. As their leader, Dick certainly carries that heart to reach out so that all the world will come to know Christ and live to glorify, praise, and worship Him forever. Dick has really shown me through this book that God's desire is that we would reach out to the lost so that they could join the chorus of heaven and be intimate with the Lord forever. After reading this I'm more and more convinced that the Lord is raising up a marriage of prayer and missions, that committed worshipers and prayer warriors will be fiery evangelists, and committed evangelists and disciple makers will see more power in their ministry as they seek to establish 24/7 intercessory worship as an overflow of their missions work throughout the globe. God is coming back to dwell on this earth, and He's preparing a bride that wants to see heaven established on the earth even before His return.

And the coolest part is that even more than all the trendy lingo that is necessary and can at the same time abstract and theoretical, he includes a very practical appendix at the end which details what an effective and successful intercessory worship gathering would look like. I highly recommend this book, because he gives lots of biblical teaching and theology, modern day stories and above all else an invitation to seek the Lord and try it for yourself, either on your own or with a group. Totally worth the read, and totally eternally worthy of applying it's message to your life! All for His glory!

Dick Eastman does not write from an academic platform alone. He walks the walk. As a result He has been instructed and used by the Holy Spirit to further the Kingdom message far beyond all but a few men throughout history have had the opportunity. He's a leader to be listened to and respected.

I am reading it now. It confirmed for me that which I knew...you can do more than intercede in prayer, but you can intercede for someone through worship. A friend was unable to worship the Lord through dance because she was confined at that time to a wheel chair..as I danced and worshiped ,I felt to tell her I was doing it for her...We can intercede on all levels of expression unto the Lord for someone. To worship in intercession for someone is a great revelation. I love the book and plan to complete reading it before the year ends

This book is great! I think it could use a title adjustment, since the book actually majors on missions. The book deals more specifically with the impact of intercessory worship ON missions more than actually discussing the specific act of intercessory worship itself. The two are obviously inseparable, it just leans heavily on one side. VERY GOOD though!

Having been a worship leader and member of a praise team I know these two worship and prayer go hand in hand. The fact that this book helps understand the melting together of the two to make worship go to a whole new level.
