Didn't care for the smell.

If this doesn't work on you musty AC system then you may have other issues such as a clogged drain tube or something similar.

Not the best but it is ok.

I had a sour, musty odor coming from inside the vents of my car whenever the air was on. Hot, Cold, A/C, Fresh air or Recirculated... it was there. Tree fresheners barely covered it up. Changing the cabin filter did nothing.

Someone in the Honda Element forums said the cause was likely mold or mildew in the ventillation system and reccommended getting a can of this to spray in the air intake (under the hood at the base of the windshield). The instructions on the can were dead simple. It has a very nice scent, which means it's gone through the whole system, and hopefully it killed whatever foul stank was lurking within. If not... I'll be back in here to tell you about it.

4 out of 5 stars because I wish there was a little more in the can, or an easier way to tell how much is left.

A year ago I bought a 2005 Jaguar XK8 and later found it had a awful musty smell coming out of the vents when the a/c was turned on. I searched high and low for the cause. Cleaned the drip vents, which didn't need it. Cleaned vents at base of windshield. Opened the dash to get at the diffuser box. Couldn't find any reason for the stink. But the odor was bad enough to keep me from using the a/c unless it was raining. On a chance I bought a can of IDQ Air conditioner Duct Cleaner. Shot half of the can into the vents at base of windshield and the rest directly into the cabin air intake under the dash on the passenger side. Immediately I was sorry I did. The perfumey smell was worse than the stink. For the next day or so I had to drive with the windows open. And then ... like magic ... all the smells disappeared. I could not have been happier. There was absolutely no smell even when the a/c was on high. Now I use the a/c every day. If you've been plagued by a similar stink, give it a try. Someday maybe I'll find the cause of the smell, but for now this'll do.

Gave it a try according to directions. Had a nice impact right away. The mustiness returned to nearly its original level by day 3.

Used this in my car that had 4 years of cigarette smell in it. Dumped half into the vent intake, sprayed the vents, sprayed the recirculate intake, and still had a ton left for the vent intake. Was still pretty fumy for another day or so, but there is absolutely no cigarette smell now.

I bought a used car about a month ago and the only thing wrong was the nasty locker room/stinky foot smell that permeated every time I ran the AC system. I got this stuff in hopes of getting rid of the stink and after one application it cleared it right up. I also suffer from migraines and the scent is so mild it didn't effect me at all. This is Amazing stuff for getting rid of that mildew stink from an AC system in your car.

I think this product worked since I haven't experienced the musty, dirty feet like smell that was coming from my vents upon turning air conditioner on or off for the first few seconds. I treated my vents both outside and inside and filter housing..just like instructions! Perfume smell was tolerable the next day and gone by 3rd day! Haven't had nasty stinky feet like smell since!

It was a bit drippy while applying (or I was doing it wrong) but it worked and got rid of the funky smell!
