3.0 out of 5 stars ..., April 1, 1999

Beastie Boys Rock! I am the biggest fan in the world I reckon. But the remixes on this EP suck. Why? Hail Sagen has a good beat once it gets going finially. And who the hell are the Prisoners of Technology? They have talent, but why delete all the lyrics to intergalactic? That's my favorite part of the song. But to their credit the base line to that song is pretty sweet. Oh well, at least the Body Movin' remixes are awsome, but that's a different single boss.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Beastie Song, June 15, 2002

This review is from: Intergalactic / Hail Sagan (Audio CD)
The Beastie Boys have continued to release some amazing singles that incorporate so many different sounds. "Intergalatic" is one of their most entertaining singles and this EP is terrific. The CD includes the album version of "Intergalatic" from "Hello Nasty" as well as two remixes. The Prisoners of Technology remix plays up the spacey feel of the song. The Fuzzy Logic Remix is more hip-hop. A new song, "Hail Sagan" is included and it's ok. It's filled with sound effects (e.g. laughter, a crow's caw), and doesn't really mesh together very well and has several false endings, but it's still interesting and surprisingly danceable. Casual Beastie Boys fans may want to pass on this CD, but hardcore fans and completists will probably be pretty pleased with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Integalactic, May 24, 2000
This review is from: Intergalactic / Hail Sagan (Audio CD)
Intergalactic is my favorite song in the world. I love when it comes on the radio. Their lyrics are brilliant. I think The Boys have all the tallent they need to become the most popular band ever. I love that weird, ugly, cool sounding voice they use for their songs. Listen to me. The Beastie Boys have put out many albums with different tracks on each cd. Now that is a lot of music. Out of all their music Intergalactic is the best song. Get the album. You'll be proud.
