Great for Designers new to the process!,
By AJ "girlbookie" (Maryland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Interior Design Course: Principles, Practices, and Techniques for the Aspiring Designer (Quarto Book) (Paperback)
I love this book! It's been helpful in understanding what level of thought goes into each step of the design process, including how to approach different design scenarios! As a student, I totally recommend it to other students and those who are just curious!

Good book for begining interior design students,
By LadyBird (Vashon, WA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Interior Design Course: Principles, Practices, and Techniques for the Aspiring Designer (Quarto Book) (Paperback)
I bought this book my second year of design school. I found it useful in that it gives an overview of the entire deign process. I follow this process in every studio course that I take. It is a very graphically beautiful book as well.

I was looking for some real meat in a design book, to learn on my own because I can't take classes right now. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thank goodness it does exist!!

Great Gift!,
This review is from: Interior Design Course: Principles, Practices, and Techniques for the Aspiring Designer (Quarto Book) (Paperback)
This was a great product. I bought it for my bestfriend who is an interior design major. It's great for college students because it teaches one how to build their portfolio and resume. It is perfect for anyone pursuing a career in interior design. It also works for those who just want to learn more about design and want to decorate their space.

Not quite what I expected,
This review is from: Interior Design Course: Principles, Practices, and Techniques for the Aspiring Designer (Quarto Book) (Paperback)
I was hoping for a book geared towards someone of very novice skills. The book has good information; better for someone interested in possibly pursing a degree in Interior Design.

Interior Design Course Book Purchased,
This review is from: Interior Design Course: Principles, Practices, and Techniques for the Aspiring Designer (Quarto Book) (Paperback)
I was glad that this book was on sale, it was not what I hoped. The images and layout were ok, but the information was just too basic not worth the purchase. This book might be good for someone that is in high shool or that age range. The knowlege was common sense.

Should be titled "Inspirational info for those who are already professional architects or designers",
This review is from: Interior Design Course: Principles, Practices, and Techniques for the Aspiring Designer (Quarto Book) (Paperback)
This book contains nothing that I expected based on the description. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing. I can't even use it as a coffee table book. To be fair, I don't know how good this book is because it had very little to do with what the description provided. Perhaps a seasoned professional might find it of interest.
