IALA and the Interlingua Institute, a history of Interlingua,
By "jjbowks" (Keene, NH, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Interlingua Institute: A history (Paperback)
Frank Esterhill's book is the best history of Interlingua I've come accross. It presents details that are quite revealing and shed light on the development of this international language. His notes at the end of the book are a great source of indepth information. I'd consider it a must read for anyone interested in auxiliary languages and in the common thread that binds modern languages of Western Society through it's shared vocabulary in the sciences, medicine, technology etc.
