I bought these lights along with several others for a Christmas present for my parents. To say the least they work great and are well built.
The lights are made out of solid aluminum construction with a glass lens. Unlike the cheap plastic models these can take quite a bit of abuse with few problems except a few scratches. The light bulb is easy to change and lasts for months. All you do is rotate the hood a quarter turn and change the bulb. Make sure to use a tissue or something of that sort to put in the new light bulb. The oils from your hand and the high heat from the halogen bulbs will make it burn out much faster. The connections are simple but effective. To metal barbs are forced into the low voltage wiring when you push the two ends of the connectors together. The connection is solid and can be undone easily to remove a light, move it down a few feet, or replacing the light with a new one when the time arises.

solid product. assembles in seconds. quick connect installation literally a snap. good for walkway or highlight lighting for objects less than 15 feet high.

Replacement Often Required,

I've had these for several years. Love the lighting, however I have had to replace these time after time as they last for a very short period of time. The connectors stink and often break as you are trying to reconnect them after they lose their connection with the lead wire. Reconnecting rarely works anyway. Best solution is simply to buy a new one.
