About the Wireless Indoor Wall Switch
With the HomeSettings lighting 300-watt wireless in-wall dimmer switch, you can experience all the benefits of home automation for a fraction of the cost. This in-wall dimmer switch has a rocker style that uses a decorative wall plate (not included). It features ON/OFF/DIM controls and a manual override; and it also has an LED indicator that shows feedback from the controller during set-up, and demonstrates that the controlled device is working.
HomeSettings uses advanced Z-Wave technology -- a wireless mesh network that delivers reliable control of countless applications throughout your home. This outstanding system was voted Best Emerging Tech by the editors at CNET magazine in 2006; and it's exactly the sort of home protection measure that's recommended by the Burglary Prevention Council.

If it wasn't for the vendor being very helpful they would have been on the curb in Tuesday's trash.
1 of 3: Worked intermittent, turned on randomly, had to return 2 of 3: The 'toggle' switch below the main switch is flimsy and faulty. If I keep it hard in the on position it causes me no grief. I've learned to keep it from being an issue, but regardless it's still defective. 3 of 3: Works perfect, zero issues, very happy. Replacement: Same as #3 Reaction time is a little slow for a z-wave device, even when you use the physical switch. I'd recommend them for rooms that are not priority that you still want z-wave capabilities or I wouldn't recommend them at all. With my experience the reliability isn't there from one switch to the next. Honestly, spend the extra on Leviton. Guaranteed to work, better design and quality and no hassle.

Also consider the HA18C,

The HA06 is great and was a snap to set up with my Harmony 890, but it was controlling a fluorescent light. In the off position most Z-Wave devices leak a bit of voltage (this is not unique to the HA06 nor does it affect normal lights) which causes fluorescent lights to flicker. The Intermatic Home Settings Three-Way In-Wall Switch #HA18C (search for B000WS4SIU) may be a better choice if you have compact fluorescents or other low wattage lighting installed.

I bought these switches to go with my Schlage Link system. They work well with the system, with some limitations. They will not work as a dimmer for cfl bulbs, and have a hard time with 12volt lighting systems. Other than that, they work great.
