I ordered two of these after another company's product arrived DOA. They work great but are black instead of white (which I actually preferred). Even better is that they are both on the same channel so I only need one remote.

I love having the freedom of using a light switch that I couldn't otherwise wire in my 1920's rented house. Though it works very well, it does not work 100% on the first click. This product claims to be able to go through walls, but it doesn't consistently. I certainly recommend this product because it does indeed get the job done, it looks like it is built well, and the design of having a cord leading to the sensor box (instead of having the sensor box plug directly into the outlet--blocking the other outlet) is really great. Especially compared to the other flimsier versions, this model feels like a win. Again, I am happy with it, I just wish it were a 100% win.

When I remember to use this, it works great. It haven't tested it at great distances, but I always press the on switch before coming into my apartment, and when I open the door, its on!

This same product sells for four times as much at Radio Shack. I am very pleased with these units.

Item received in good condition. Plugged it in, and it works as advertised, to turn item on/off remotely. Cord leading from unit could have been made a little bit longer.

Works well. I bought it for a friend of mine and she really liked it. She has to use a walker and at night
she had a hard time going to the front room without tripping on items. She also likes it as a tool to keep
down break ins. Nobody knows what room she is in.

I ordered two of these and they came on separate channels which is right for my purpose, to have home security in two zones. This makes DIY home security a breeze if you are low on cash and high on resourcefulness.

I am using the remote control switch to control a hot water circulating pump we have in our home. We are able to turn the circulation pump on remotely when we need instant hot water at any facet in the house. This save on water usage by not having to run water until the hot water gets to the facet and by not having to have the pump run all the time, saves on gas to run the hot water heater. My only complaint is that I wish it had a longer rang. Other than that, it works great.
