I love this timer and use it for my Christmas lights so they all come on at the same time. I then set it to go off 6 hours later and so never have to worry about turning off the lights.

The only problem occurs when there is a power outage and then you must reset the turn off time as it defaults to dawn to dusk with the photo eye.

I bought this last Christmas and it worked fine for my holiday lights. This year I used it for a week and suddenly it stopped working all together. I wish these things were sturdier so I wouldn't have to buy them once a year.

I've used this timer for the past few years and it's worked flawlessly. It does exactly what it's supposed to. It turns my Christmas lights on and off perfectly. I would buy another one if I lost this one.

As long as you are sure that this timer does what you are looking to do, you can't go wrong. This is a high-quality product.

Works great. This is my second timer from Intermatic. The first one is the predecessor of this model, which has lasted through 7 years of winter use. I am using both timers to control 1/2hp to 1hp electric de-icer motors which keep my lagoon from freezing during the winter months. Both devices are exposed to winter eliminates from November through March.

It does well what it is supposed to do. However, to be more useful for general
purposes, it lacks (1) a clock, (2) multiple operations in a day. First is
very much needed if one wants to start the timer, say, at 3am: One has to
get up and set it up to work properly. Second, most timers have multiple
on/off times that can be programmed within a day.
But the specifications of this timer is clear and it does well what it
promises. Price is also reasonable.
