I purchased a number of these lights last year to use on the face of a retaining wall. They installed easily and look good. However, after just 6 months, the "fast lock connectors" have completely corroded through on 3 of the lights. Unfortunately, this means digging up the buried line, finding the connector and re-doing it (I'm just cutting off the fast lock connector and splicing the wires together with waterproof wire nuts). I will probably just dig up all 47 lights and replace the connectors all at once before I lay down sod. Otherwise I will have to replace the lights one at a time over the next few years until they have all failed.

I bought 5 of these lights and installed them on a deck. They look fine and I'm happy with them. The connectors are a piece of junk. They make poor intermittent contact. One of the other reviewers talked about corrosion. Taking his advice I cut the connectors off right away and soldered the spliced wires and covered them with waterproof sealant.

Built a new backyard deck and needed just the right lights to light it up. They work great!

I chose these lights because they were simple and inexpensive. They turned out to look very elegant on my deck. They were installed on the upright posts at the top of the stairs shining down on the deck. The added bonus was, because of the cone design, the light also shines down the stairs.
