5.0 out of 5 stars overpriced now is all I got to say !!!
If you've used solar lights before, these won't disappoint you. I have five of these in and aound my pool and they create a great nighttime mood and have a gentle reflection across the water. Usually water doesn't get in them- they are sealed well if you screw them on correctly, but if it does, you just empty the water out and they still work.

1.0 out of 5 stars sucks
The illumination from this light is quite low. Also the light is not water tight. This was a very disappointing purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars Malibu Solar Floating Light, November 9, 2006

These were not what I expected, they produce hardly any light. I bought them for my sister, and tried them out before giving as a gift. I was glad because I would have been embarrassed. I would not order them again.

Sorry for the less than nice, but honest review.

It's like landscape lighting. Not a LOT of light, but a pretty white light. These are still in good shape after 2 years. I like these better than the metal lights I stuck in the ground around the pool that rusted after 4 motnhs.
I can recommend these when priced under $20

I bought 2 of these lights, and may have just thrown my hard-earned $ out of my car window as I cruise down the freeway, for all the good it did me. They were so dim, even on a "full charge", even in the dark and floating on the pool, the emitted light was pathetic. Do not waste your $ on this. Also, they were not watertight, so what is the point of being able to float them in a pool if water gets into the battery compartment ???

5.0 out of 5 stars Solar pool floating light, October 9, 2008

First time trying something like this. Wanted to light an inground pool without using electricity. This worked right out of the box. Been in use two weeeks and no problem. The light cast into the pool was lower/smaller than I would prefer. However, with that said, it's neat looking when it's really dark. The darker it gets the brighter the float seems.

I put the batteries in and allowed the unit to charge per the instuctions.
Light comes on when I cover the sensor with my hand but not at night in my pool.
