This is the 4th power pack I've had to order. It seems that the timer quits working or it gets a short inside after a 3 or 4 year period. The product is excellent, but work needs to be done on making them last longer. I realize it runs 24/7, but I have other things that run 24/7 also and they don't die in 3 or 4 years. It is not overloaded, but indeed under the rated capacity. Hope Intermatic gets this and works on improving their already good product.

We purchased a 4-light set which came with this transformer bundled in and at the beginning of the second season the timer had already stopped working (we had unplugged it for the winter). We could switch the lights off and on manually for a couple of months and then the transformer began overheating and would trip itself off (thermal switch still worked!) These units had 5-year warranties but it appears that Intermatic changed it to 1-year recently. So I thought I had plenty of time to locate the receipt but by the time I did the warranty had already expired. I think these units have a design defect or are being made cheaply and not as durable as the previous models.

This timer keeps on losing time and can't seem turn on the lights! I own other Intermatic timers but this one was crap right out of the box. Intermatic's products have a real quality problem I've also encountered lights that don't work out of the box- even with bulb changes.

This purchase was to replace a defective low voltage lighting system transformer and controller. It works to perfection!

The low voltage timer is difficult to find; this one operates as it should, was received in a "timely" manner and was well packaged.

The transformer works with no problems. It is exactly like the one I replaced. Because of it's age or wattage rating, it was impossible to find in stores. The price on Amazon.com is much less than other websites, even Ebay, plus I received free shipping! A similar wattage transformer in a retail store would have easily cost three times more. I am so glad I found this on Amazon. This seller is great! The transaction went very smoothly and I received it quickly. I highly recommend this seller for whatever he has to seller. Within a month the timer wouldn't turn on the light. Seems the plastic wheel is just not substantial enough to handle a number of cycles. Now I've got it on a light sensor switch and have to hear the motor running the timer. Not what I hope for.

I needed a new transformer as my old one had corroded. This replacement unit was reasonably priced and worked great. It was well packed and arrived promptly. It was a great buying experience.

Same item as what I had before. The other one died after about 2 years of use. Lets see how long this one lasts.

Very easy to hook up - a child could do it - just do not plug in until leads for the lights are connected. Exact replacement of broken original which lasted about 8 years. Works great
