The only "heavy" thing about these timers is the weight -- not the performance. One of the two timers works with relative regularity (interesting that regularity is relative for a clock of sorts). The other quickly gets off time and does not turn on/off as a function of the little pins it is constructed to respond to. I would STRONGLY recommend buying a different product.

Piece of junk timer. Worked for a couple of months and then stopped. Shipping is too expensive to return it, so threw it in the trash... just one more made-in-China plastic product in the landfill.

Works fine, but you can get it at half the price in a big box home improvement store. Also, it does not work with three-pronged plugs.
