The WP3100C is a single gang NEMA 3R receptacle cover that ensures compliance with 2008 NEC Article 406.8 (B) (1) which requires that 15 and 20 ampere, 125 and 250 volt receptacles installed in a wet location have an enclosure that is weatherproof whether or not the attachment plug cap is inserted. They also meet the 1999 NEC Article 410-57(b) and are designed to meet the 1999 NEC Article 210-60(b), which requires that receptacles installed behind beds in hotels and motels be protected with a suitable guard. The WP3100C is shipped with gasket, mounting screws, base and cover assembly and patented inserts. The single gang Flexi-Guard series provides inserts for a 16 different applications. The WP3100C is designed to mount horizontally or vertically. The patented insert design ensures flexibility by simply inserting the proper insert into the base and cover assembly.

Didn't love it,

The cover is so shallow I can't find any plugs that will fit under it. I'll have to leave it open and cover it with plastic wrap to keep the weather off of it. Another inch of depth and this would have been a great product. Don't they ever try what they manufacture?

Doesn't fit as snuggly against the house siding as I would like, but seems to be working fine so far. It is in an area covered by an overhang, so I am not to worried about it.
The plastic cover was a pain to get on, and I recommend doing it before screwing the unit into place. Felt like I was going to break the grey piece trying to push/pry/do anything I could to get the clear cover on. Need some heafty scissors or clippers to get the holes for the wires cut out. Should be able to just pop them out, but they are pretty tough. Overall has done the job well.
