I bought both Vol I and Vol II of the Survival Guide, and I'm glad I did. I bought these volumes when I realized that the Kieso textbook, which offers a tantalizingly huge number of questions, exercises, and problems, offers no answers or checks of any kind. The Survival Guide resolves this frustrating feature by presenting several problems and multiple choice exercises for each chapter, each followed by a very clear and thorough explanation. The Survival Guides also feature supplementary explanatory text which I found extremely helpful in understanding the concepts presented in each chapter of the textbook. This isn't a 5-star review only because the chapter on leases (Vol II) was not as clear as the other Guide chapters, and there were a number of typesetting errors.

Unlike other materials, this "Guide to Problem Solving" greatly enhanced my understanding and mastery of financial accounting. My recommendation to every student is that it is worth every penny. Your grades will improve and your stress level subside. Good luck!

It came when i needed it. The book was in good shape and no writings. I would like to order again if the service is going to be fast like this.

The Intermediate Accounting Problem Solving Survival Guide, Volume 1, is a great supplement to the textbook. It provides additional explainations, self-tests, examples and problems with solutions, which provide clarity to the information presented in the text. Well worth the money. I'll be purchasing Volume 2 when I take Intermediate II in the spring.

this was much cheaper than at the bookstore on campus. book arrived before estimated delivery date in good condition. will use site again!

The mere fact that there is a "survival guide" that is named the "survival guide" would give you a prelude to how poorly the textbook is written. If ever there was a negative star rating due it would be for this monstrosity of an enterprise. Kieso and all the other goons are shameful by trying to profit from something that was dreadful to begin with.

The product was in great shape, it looks unused. What I would have wanted to know is does it match Intermediate Accounting. It says it is a survial guide to solving problems. But it does not appear to match the excercises in the book. This is not the seller's fault, but perhaps, mine for failing to research further.

I am gonna return it cause first time when I was trying to purchse it, thought it ws some hint for my textbook, but the whole content I am not sure what problem solving refer to? useless
