Internal Quality Auditing, by Denis Pronovost, is the first book that provides a comprehensive guide designed for use by audit program managers and internal auditors for performing effective internal audits. The book is written in two sections and structured to suit the needs of organizations. The first section introduces new and innovative material concerning internal auditing concepts and management issues that should be considered for effective internal audits. The second section uses practical examples to help internal auditors focus on performing the most effective internal audits for their organization. This review is from: Internal Quality Auditing (Hardcover)
The book is very general in nature. It really doesn't show how to set parameters and test them. More importantly, it doesn't mention how to analyze in detail a parameter that falls out of the required quality control boundaries after testing takes place.

I wasn't very satisfied. The section on audit reports was the only one that seemed useful.
