Well, I expected the humidifier to work the same way like with the original cartridge. To my surprise the granules are a totally different. First of all after the 24 h soaking period the cartridge was clogging up frequently and the humidifier stopped working. Shaking it up helped for a view hours but had to be repeated for several days. Now it is running constantly but it blows white dust all over the place like a very old cartridge.
There is no indication on the packaging about the manufacturing date and I assume that this stuff is just too old. I missed the return window, because I ordered it to have a spare when I need it and not for immediate use. Now I am stuck with useless granules and have to buy an entire cartridge and create more waste. Very disappointing for a top notch manufacturer!

First time purchase, the box comes with a little cup and a cap to help fill. I didn't use the cup as it looked like the granules would stick to it. Managed to get 95% in without spilling. But my humidifier doesn't seem to work properly anymore, it goes on and off (showing that there's no water when the tank is full).

Replacemen granules are the cost effective way to go. Much cheaper to change them out rather than replace the whole cartridge. The granules do what they are supposed to do.

I have used refills for my humidifier for years, and usually it comes in a clear bag, filled with DRY granules.
This brand comes in a metallic package and the granules are humid and really just hard to distribute in the holder.
I guess the performance is the same as for the dry version, but it is a pain inthebutt to refill.
/Just letting you know/ Putting a wet paper towel under the recipient during refill helps you keeping the surroundings clean

Update:
After 1 week the filter clogs and the humidifier stops with about 1/3 filled tank. Please give us back the DRY GRANULES!!!
