Most useful handbook,
This review is from: International Business: Competing in the Global Marketplace (Hardcover)
As a prescribed book for our MBA course (University of South Africa) I found this publication most enlightening. It is current and up to date, and addresses diverse topics which exert influences on business. Themes include national and cultural differences, global trade, politics and investment, the global monetary system, foreign exchange and capital market, strategic issues, and business operations.I could find nothing wrong with the writer's style. References are copious and the text is fairly easy to understand. Although it could be argued that postgraduate students will grasp the contents easier, even an undergraduate friend of mine found the book fascinating and well written. Whether for formal studies or personal interest I can highly recommend this volume.

This is a third edition Book. Most classes that are now in session are looking for the fourth edition - I found this out the hard way. So watch out.
