I bought a Kindle for my trip to Europe and decided to add this Gomadic international wall charger after I discovered my Kindle only came with a US plug. Thank goodness I did! The wall charger was shipped really promptly, and the various international plugs allowed me to read my Kindle in each of the countries I visited.

After reading that you can't use just any old power to USB converter to charge the Kindle off mains power in Australia I ordered this International Wall / AC Charger for my mother. She has had the charger for a little while now and says it works great and she believes it charges the Kindle faster than via the USB connection on her computer, so she is very happy.

Works well here in Australia, going overseas comes with multiple plugs fabulous. Very happy with product and delivery.

When I received my Kindle through Amazon.com, (I live in The Netherlands), I usually recharged it, through my PC, using the USB-cable. This took far too long! While I searched the Internet, to find an appropriate charger to buy, in The Netherlands, for my Kindle, I couldn't find one, which was quite affordable. But this charger from Gomadic is really good quality, for a great price. Now my Kindle is recharged in about 2 hours! And with the additional plugs, you can recharge your Kindle almost everywhere!

When Kindle first came to Australia it could be recharged from my p.c. by USB - very effective, and quite satisfctory except if I'm away from home (in hospital, or travelling for example).

Now it is possible to recharge from any power outlet - even if travelling overseas.

Cheap, efficient and convenient so long as you always make sure your connections are firm.

The wall charger for my Kindle (international version) works really well. It is faster than my USB charger and can be used when & where I am not using my laptop. It was delivered fast and packed well. I was a bit surprised that there were no instructions but these they are ususally confusing anyway.......
I bought 2 chargers as I bought 2 Kindles, one for myself and one for a gift, and If I buy more Kindles I will definately buy more chargers.

I have not put my Kindle down, I absolutely love every minute of the ease and convenience of it.
Highly recommend it and know it will be the future!
P.S. I am a book lover and am not missing the touch and feel of a book at all!!

Having recently purchased the International version of the Kindle I was extremely happy to see the additional charging facility offered and am now using it almost exclusively.

Works as advertised - and I've tried it on four continents so far. Much less complicated than other product offerings which have to be cobbeled together to accommodate Kindle.

I purchased the international wall adapter for the kindle and it works really well. It allows my kindle to be much more portable as I don't always have to have my laptop at hand in order to charge it up. Works well.
