I have this and Frank X Talbert's book "A Bowl of Red" as the key pieces of my chili library (if you can call a few books a library). Put this cookbook together with a good chili powder made from freshly ground dried chiles and you can make a artfull bowl of chili.

My parents kept this on a shelf and I used the recipes a number of times when I got older. The Cincinnati Chili recipe is a classic I use fairly often!
