A great book for a beginner, probably good for those already working in Commodities
A fantastic book. I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to commodities. I was surprised how much detail it went through. It's probably perfect for someone who does not work specifically in commodities but would like to learn about what is available in the way of infrastructure, information, and data.

Way too general...
This is not really about commodities, it is a basic and general discussion about futures and options markets. It looks like every other text that regurgitates basic concepts on futures and options without any real in depth analysis of the individual commodities. They section on physical markets is what I thought would differentiate this text from...

This is not really about commodities, it is a basic and general discussion about futures
and options markets. It looks like every other text that regurgitates basic concepts on futures and options without any real in depth analysis of the individual commodities. They section on physical markets is what I thought would differentiate this text from others..and it begins to... but ends after 20+ pages...a bit of a rip off.

I recomend this book, I`m working since 10 years in commodities market and i never found a book so complete about physical and derivative market.

Great Book on the Physical Commodity Market!,

This explains the international commodities market in great detail and it's a fantastic read. It has nice details and explanations of complicated concepts in addition to some rigorous math if you have the desire to understand the technical side of this industry. Wiley book, in my opinion, are fantastic reads. They seem to have great authors and editors that can make learning and understanding the technical sciences, business fun and interesting ... hurray to them....
