Lots of good information throughout. What makes it worth buying are translations in back. Extensive philatelic terms are translated into German, Spanish, Italian, French, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, Russian, Polish, Greek, etc. Super for figuring out what stamp inscriptions mean and for determining key words in foreign catalogs.

I was very pleased with this book. Seems to be very comprehensive and educational. Definitely a wonderful resource for the beginning collector as well as the advanced. I will be using this reference work frequently. A wealth of research and knowledge -- I wish I had known about it sooner.
