Editorial Reviews

This is the second in a series of live recordings from International Guitar Night's annual North American tours. Brian Gore is a melodic fingerstyle guitarist, author, and impresario from San Francisco. He founded International Guitar Night in the 1990's, and has overseen its expansion. D'Gary is a renowned guitarist from Antananarivo, Madagascar, who burst on the World Music scene with a recording made by David Lindley and Henry Kaiser. His complex, percussive style and plaintive singing are based on traditional Malagasy music. Miguel de la Bastide, a native of Trinidad, studied Flamenco extensively in Spain. He now lives in Toronto, where he is the musical director of the Compañia Carmen Romero dance troupe and featured solo guitarist of his own Flamenco musical ensemble. Clive Carroll of Essex, England, comes from a gifted family of musicians and instrument makers. He was introduced to American audiences touring with guitar master Tommy Emmanuel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful album!, November 23, 2008
This review is from: International Guitar Night II (Audio CD)
I was lucky enough to see this concert in person and was in awe. The album lives up to the awe of seeing it live. The amazing skills of the performers gives this album life. I highly recommend both the album and seeing the live show. Enjoy!
