More About the Author

Lucio Picci is a Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna, Italy, and holds a Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego. He has also served as Senior Scientist at the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS--part of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre) in Seville, Spain. His research interests are at the intersection between political economy, public governance and the economics of innovation.
