This equipment mount was used for mounting an existing SiriusXM Satilite Radio Reciever, into a different car - a Hyundai SantaFe. This mount installed as directions showed and fit perfectly. It holds the receiver dock as needed and had some adapter options that fit my needs. This puts my receiver at a location that isn't too close to the dash, or too far away to be accidently knocked. I would recommend this for the same application.

Great little product! Keeps the GPS off the dash but within sight. Easy to mount and works like a champ!

I installed this in my 2007 Accord. Installation was pretty simple and the mount got the GPS off my windshield which is where I was going. Two problems I see with this product. First is that it's pretty thin so the GPS tends to wobble. Now I have a TomTom 540XXL which is admittedly pretty heavy but it also wobbles a bit with my smaller 350XL but not as much. Second you would think that since it was thin it would not interfere much with the dash but you would be wrong. Mine included two round headed screws which push the dash apart. I think they would be better served with thicker metal and some countersunk screws. It's also pretty pricey for what you get.
If I had to do it over again I'd get one of the older ones that are more fixed without the ball and are of heavier steel. I just don't feel this was a good value.
